Environmental Policy

Ibercaja is conscious and sensitive to the environmental impact that all business activity generates in its surroundings. For this reason, since 2007 it has had an Environmental Policy and an Environmental Management System. 

Following the principles of action set out in the Sustainability Policy, in 2021 the Environmental Policy was updated to make clear the commitment to protect the environment and combat climate change, taking into account both the environmental impact of its facilities and that of its financial activity.
 

The Environmental Management System has been implemented throughout our organisation and ensures that we operate in accordance with the UNE-EN ISO 14001:2015 standard. Moreover, our headquarters at Plaza Paraíso 2 in Zaragoza have an ISO certification in environmental management. Each year our activities are audited by an external company, which ensures that we undergo continuous improvement.
